How We Make Natural Nannari Colour
Organic food colour made from nannari root is one of our proudest creations. The process begins by sourcing fresh nannari roots from trusted farmers who follow natural cultivation practices. Once the roots arrive, they undergo a gentle cleaning process to remove impurities while maintaining their natural structure. We soak the roots to soften them and release their natural colour compounds.
After soaking, the roots are boiled for several hours in a controlled temperature environment. This slow-boiling method helps draw out the natural golden-brown shade that nannari is known for. The extract is then finely filtered to ensure clarity, leaving behind a pure colouring liquid filled with the root’s natural goodness.
To preserve the extract in its most natural form, we mix it with pure cane sugar, avoiding synthetic preservatives or artificial flavours. This combination helps maintain the traditional aroma and long-lasting colour without compromising safety. Our organic food colour is widely used in sarbath, cool drinks, sweets, and traditional recipes, making it a perfect natural alternative to commercial synthetic colours.
